July 12-16 Experiment Extravaganza
Have you ever set steam on fire? Can you start a fire without a match? Are you able to fold an egg in half? Do you know how to pierce a bag of water and not spill a drop? We will be doing a variety of incredible and exciting experiments and activities. You will learn how to build and launch rockets, make goo, bounce a raw egg and create mini explosions. Build and program a robot to solve real problems! Robotics for Beginners is an incredible program found nowhere else in southwest
July 26-30 Robotics – Intermediate
This class is a follow up to the beginners class. You now know how to build and program your robot to follow simple commands. In this higher level class, you will program your robot to use light, heat and color sensors. You will work with partners to complete higher level challenges and solve problems using your phenomenol robot. Class size is very limited. Sign up early to guarantee a spot. July 26-30 Book Club and Writers Rock!
Walk away from this class with a hardcover book, written and illustrated by you! Write poetry and participate in a poetry reading at a local café! Collaborate with other students while reading great literature and improving comprehension and fluency skills. This class is for bookworms and for anyone who wants to become a better reader or writer. Great prep for third and fourth grade students take reading and writing FCAT. This class will prepare them to succeed on the FCAT. Register by clicking here.
